Typical Requirements & Timeline:
Be at least 18 years old.
Read, speak, write, and understand English fluently.
Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate (or ATP) with Airplane Single-Engine Land rating.
Hold an Instrument Rating (or appropriate privileges).
Pass the FAA Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) and Flight Instructor Airplane (FIA) knowledge tests.
Complete required flight training, schedule and pass the practical test (oral + flight checkride) quickly with a KTRL based DPE.
