Join the Team at Terrell Aviation – Careers in Aviation
Are you passionate about flying, teaching, and aviation? Do you thrive in a friendly, hands-on environment where every day brings new challenges and the chance to help others achieve their dreams in the sky? Terrell Aviation is growing, and we're looking for talented, dedicated people to join our close-knit team at Terrell Municipal Airport (KTRL) in sunny North Texas.
As a family-oriented Part 61 flight school, we offer flight training from Sport Pilot to CFII, aircraft maintenance, parts services, rentals, aerial photography, sightseeing, and more. Our team enjoys great Texas flying weather, low-traffic airspace, and the satisfaction of seeing students succeed, from first discovery flights to commercial ratings and beyond.
Current or Upcoming Opportunities:
We’re always interested in hearing from qualified candidates in these key roles:
Certified Flight Instructors (CFI / CFII / MEI) - Teach the next generation of pilots with our tried and true rating based curriculums. Build hours quickly, enjoy flexible scheduling, and work in a supportive environment with in-house DPE access. Ideal for building toward an airline career while earning competitive pay and enjoying the instructor lifestyle.
A&P Mechanics (with or without IA) - Perform preventive maintenance, annual/100-hour inspections, parts installation, and logbook work on a variety of GA aircraft (Cessna, Piper, etc.). On-field convenience means no travel so you can focus on quality work and helping local owners keep their planes flying safely.
Office / Administrative Support - Handle scheduling, customer service, billing, and behind-the-scenes operations. Perfect for organized, people-oriented individuals who love aviation and want to support our flight school and FBO.
Why Work at Terrell Aviation?
Work where you love to fly - beautiful Texas skies, consistent weather, and a laid-back airport atmosphere.
Be part of a small, supportive team that values work-life balance, safety, and personal growth.
Competitive pay, flexible hours, and perks like discounted flight time (for qualified staff), pilot supplies, and more.
Make a real impact - help students earn their wings, keep aircraft airworthy, and create memorable experiences for our community.
We're proud of our reputation for professionalism, safety, and genuine Texas hospitality. If you're enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to contribute to a thriving local flight school, we'd love to hear from you!
